Patterns of the motion of the Sun, Moon, and stars in the sky can be observed, described, and predicted.

Every morning, the Sun rises.

At times, the clouds block the sun.

Even if there are clouds, the Sun still rises.

When the Sun goes down, the day turns into night.

The Sun has a pattern.

It always rises in the eastern sky.

It always goes down in the western sky.

On some nights, the Moon can be seen in the sky.

On other nights, the Moon is not in the night sky.

The Sun is always in the sky during the day.

The Moon is not always up during the night.

Sometimes, the Moon is still in the sky during the morning.

Sometimes, it is visible before the Sun goes down.
